COMING SOON FOR ANDROID AND iOS

AI-powered estimating.

Job support that goes beyond the bid.

Ironclad is a mobile app we’re building for residential contractors to turn job photos, measurements, and project details into estimates they can review and proposals they can approve.

THE APP WE’RE BUILDING · PLANNED WORKFLOW

From the site visit
to the customer proposal.

Bring the job details into Ironclad. Work through the scope with AI. Review the estimate. Make the final call.

This is the experience we’re developing—not a list of features available to download today.

  1. Capture the job on site

Create a job, record the customer’s requested work, take job photos, enter your measurements, and attach relevant project documents. Keep the information together instead of reconstructing it from scattered notes later.

  2. Work through the scope with AI

Ask questions in the context of that job. AI assistance is being designed to review selected photos and supported documents, suggest observations, and ask follow-up questions when important details are missing. You confirm or correct the requirements.

  3. Develop an estimate you can inspect

Our estimating workflow is being built to assemble a line-item draft: work quantities, material and labor allowances, assumptions, exclusions, and unresolved questions. Review what each part covers, request changes, and understand the basis—not just the total.

  4. Prepare and approve the proposal

Review the scope and price, request revisions, and approve the version intended for your customer. Proposal preparation and approved delivery are planned; the AI does not get to make the final decision for you.

PRACTICAL AI · CONTRACTOR CONTROL

Less starting from scratch.
More informed decisions.

Instead of hunting for job details: work from photos, measurements, documents, and conversations connected to the same job.

Instead of guessing what’s missing: work through questions and separate confirmed requirements from items that still need an answer.

Instead of an unexplained price: our goal is a draft you can inspect and revise before presenting a clear scope to the customer.

We’re building for Android phones and iPhones so the workflow can fit the contractor’s day—not just time at a desk. Initial beta platform support, estimating coverage, and release timing will be announced separately.

AN EXAMPLE · FLOORING REPLACEMENT

A customer asks for
a new living-room floor.
What comes next?

Illustrative planned workflow. Not a live app demo or an actual estimate. No real measurements, photos, or prices are used here.

“Replace the existing living-room flooring with click-lock vinyl plank.”
  1. Start with the request

Record the work the customer wants. As you assess the site, add your own measurements and photos. This walkthrough doesn’t invent those inputs.

  2. Work through the open questions

    • What existing flooring needs removal?
    • What is known about the subfloor—and what still needs inspection?
    • Which doorways, transitions, or trim need attention?
    • Who handles furniture moving and disposal?
    • Have measurements and the product selection been confirmed?
  3. Review the work to include

The intended estimating workflow helps organize confirmed scope around removal and disposal, preparation needs, materials and installation, transitions or trim, and cleanup. Missing quantities and unresolved conditions stay open—not hidden in a made-up total.

  4. Review before it reaches the customer

Check the draft’s scope, assumptions, and exclusions. Request changes before approving a proposal. These are planned capabilities of the app being developed.

These questions illustrate a workflow, not a complete installation checklist or a determination that a site is ready.

BEYOND THE ESTIMATE · PLANNED

Winning the job is only the beginning.

The longer-term vision is to carry that job context into the work itself.

Job cost tracking
Keep labor, material costs, and receipts connected to the job.
Budget visibility
Compare estimated and actual costs and surface potential budget or margin concerns.
Change-order support
Prepare changes for review when the work moves beyond the original scope.
Schedule assistance
Help plan work with job dependencies and local weather in view.
Customer communication
Help prepare updates while keeping you in control of what gets sent.

These are planned capabilities, not features currently available for customer use. First-beta scope and timing will be confirmed separately.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

A focused beginning.
A broader direction.

Can I download or use the app today?

No. The whole Ironclad app is in development. This site introduces the direction and collects interest; it does not provide an app account or download.

Will the first beta include every feature?

No. Estimating is the first focus, starting with a defined scope. Additional trades and broader job management will expand as they are developed and tested. We will explain supported work before inviting participants.

Will joining the list guarantee a beta place?

No. We’ll contact selected participants when testing is ready. Participation details and any data-use terms will be explained separately before onboarding.

What will it cost?

Pricing is still being decided. There are no subscriptions, usage charges, or payments on this site.
